protocol violation error : Section=ResponseBody Detail=Response chunkformat is invalid

We are getting the below error on one of our servers running .net 2.0.

The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseBody
Detail=Response chunk format is invalid

I have checked many groups and web without much success. Can anyone
please let me know what might be causing this error.
your help much appreciated
