Response.TransmitFile: Browser freeze

Hi,

i am a newbie on web development...

i have developed a little file download app (asp.net fw 1.1 Sp1). I us
Response.TranmitFile to send files to the client. On my win2000 serve
(iis5) everything works fine.

Now on the win2003 server (iis6) the browser window freezes when
start a download. refreshing the page has no effect until the downloa
finished.
When i open a second browser window with an new session i can acces
the app normally also during download.

It seems to me that there is only one connection or thread availabl
for one session. Is this possible? Any hints?
