Scaling and no database

Say I have application that uses a external webservice, just displays the answer of the webservices in some format, and uses no database, then what do I have to do to scale my application? Can I just add another server? How are requests divided over the two servers? There is no need to synchronize the common data in the database, so I presume I do not have to do much, or at least a lot less. Is that right?
