I've been doing alot of reading on doing streaming video on ASP.net but
don't know which way to go.....
I am putting a web front end in front of some video files. Basically,
the code has a filename (ASF files up to 130MB each). I want to stream
this file out to the end user. There are 1000's of files with
basically random filenames so I can't continuously add them to Windows
Media server to publish them. I know that when the end user clicks on
the link, I could publish the file on WMS on the fly programmatically
but I don't if that is the best way.
I would like to obscure the filename as best as possible so the user
can't just download the file and save it locally.
Does anyone have some advice on other ways to do this?
Thanks, Chris
