AdventNet announces the release of SNMP Adaptor for JMX which empowers
JMX developers to quickly configure the SNMP adaptor for user-defined
MBeans built on various JMX implementations and application servers.
The supported JMX implementations include JBossMX, Sun JMX RI, MX4J,
TMX4J and XMOJO. The supported application servers include JBoss,
WebLogic, WebSphere, and Tomcat. The adaptor can seamlessly integrate
with standard SNMP management consoles, such as HP OpenView, IBM
Tivoli, etc.
The out-of-the-box JBoss SNMP agent provided with SNMP Adaptor caters
to the needs of IT personnel who want to extensively monitor and
manage JBoss application server and the components deployed in it
through SNMP. It implements the JSR-77 MIB and provides extensive
fault and performance management of the JBoss application server.
