ASP .NET authentication

I have to create an application that uses "Windows Integrated
Authentication" only. I created a sample application that uses "Windows
Integrated Authentication" and when I hit the web site for the first time,
it pops up the windows dialog box, then I can navigate and so on, then I
close the browser.

If I open a new browser and type the url then it "does not" pop up the
windows box. why?

How can I create an app that pops up the windows dialog box, if the default
page is called from a new browser?
