Hi,
When I try to add a database to a project I get the error message,
"SQL Server does not allow remote connections".
I went into Surface Area Config of my SQL 2005 & changed the remote settings
to
Local & remote using TCPIP settings, but this did not fix the issue.
I went to Administrative tools>services & found that SQL2005 was startup was
set to Automatic but I could not start it.
This has happened to me on an VS2005 express edition & an Enterprise edition
so I'm guessing it's a fairly common issue.
Has anybody resolved this issue themselves?
Many thanks for any help on this one. I'm stuck!
