creating proxy class from WSDL file

HI,
i have problem creating proxy class from VS.Net environment by referencing a WSDL file. I don't have .asmx file. I need to make use of .wsdl file only.
the error message is as below:

Custom tool warning: DiscoCodeGenerator unable to initialize code generator. No code generated.

the result is: Reference.vb file is empty. It just has Namespace start and end lines. nothing for the code.
can some body help me?

do you try to compile from the command line?
