Hi, I have read many different datalist paging solutions, including
using the ROW_NUMBER() with Sql Server 2005. I have googled various
methods to use with lower versions of Sql Server.
I wanted to know if I am not using sql server 2005, is it still
appropriate to use the paging that is designed for asp.net 1.x and sql
server 2000 as it relates to the DataList?
Am I correct there is no difference in asp.net 1.x and 2.0 in datalist
paging as long as sql server 2000 is the repository?
In addition, does anyone know if Microsoft is going to build in paging
for these controls (good paging) in the next iteration of asp.net?
