Deploy app w/ CR on box with CR

I've got an Framework 1.0 app that generates reports using Crystal Reports.
It works fine when i deploy to a server that is fresh but if i deploy to a
server that already has some form of Crystal Reports installed, i get the
dreaded "Cannot find KeycodeV2, or invalid keycode." error.

I would guess that both apps have a reg number and alphanumeric keycode
which are different and this causes the error.

Any ideas or experience overcoming this problem?
