Eexpore a mobile phone which is connected to the PC using Java

I have a task to do. If anyone has any experience or any idea about it, i
would be thankful!

I want to send an SMS via my mobile phone, but not manually. I want to
create a Java Application which will decide the appropriate time and the
text of the SMS which will be sent and will give the right command to the
mobile phone, which will send the message. My mobile phone will be connected
to the PC via serial port or usb port.

I have some mobile phones which i can use (if this help): Nokia 3310, 3330,
Siemens S55.
