GetTransferData() works only after halting over a breakpoint

Hello,
I get an exception when I getTransferData() returns with a dragged
object.
But if I put a breakpoint over the getTransferData() line, and press
step over button, the function returns with no exception.
I tries to put a sleep of even 5 seconds one line before, but it
wouldn't help.

Any advise?
