install amrita2

Hi -
I have an older version of amrita installed on my windows laptop, which
I want to update to amrita2 - although I downloaded the latest version
from Ruby Forge, there is no installer/setup file. What is the general
procedure for
1. updating to newer version of ruby packages on mac / windows
2. installing packages in the absence of setup / install etc file ..

I believe you would want to gem uninstall amrita=20
first

Then just simply extract amrita2 lib to=20
C:\ruby\lib\ruby\site_ruby\1.8\amrita2 or wherever your ruby libs
exist on your system. I didn't have amrita 1 on my site, so I just did
this step and everything worked.

You can also subscribe to amrita2-users mailing list to ask detailed
specific questions. Taku himself reads and answers questions there.
