jms and tomcat

I am thinking of using jms provider with tomcat to have servlets be
producers and consumers or messages.
I've looked and found activemq, jbossmq and openjms being spoken about
the most, but I cant figure out which is the most prevelant.

Especially since most people seem to have gone the j2ee way and are no
longer using jms + web container scheme. Am I right to assume that ?

I am not using j2ee at the moment but may at a later date depending on
other requirements...

Which jms provider would you recommend ? I want ease of use and set up
mainly.

Also I am a little confused about how to handle jdbc transactions and
their relation to jms transactions, I'd appreciate some simple
clarification.

Thanks
Anita
