moving to visual studio 2005

Hi,

I have a VS 2003 asp.net 1.1 project hosted on a windows 2003 server. I want
to move it to asp.net 2.0 and VS 2005.

Do I need to install VS 2005 on the server first and then on my development
PC and then upgrade the app from my development PC?

You don't need VS.NET 2005 on the server, just the redistributable (same as
in 2003).

Then on your development machine which has 2005, you upgrade the site,
rebuild, and deploy to the server.

shoul I upgrade SQL 2000 to 2005 before installing the .net 2.0
redistributable or after? Or does it matter?

I don't remember if it matters. I'd guess after if anything.

I suppose when I think about it SQL 2005 has CLR integration so I would think
the .net 2.0 will be installed anyways. It shouldnt matter.
