Newbie : pull-down menu with on-click feature

How to create a pull-down menu with on-click feature, I mean when I simply
pull down the menu and click the selected item, it goes direct to the
destination page. At present, I pull down the menu, select item and then
click the "Submit" buttons to complete.

This is a client-side programming question, not a server-side ASP question.

Something along the lines of <select onchange="location.href=this.value;">
but you may want to confirm that in a more appropriate group, such as
m.p.scripting.jscript.
