One long-standing irritation I have with the table of contents for the
Python Library Reference <http://docs.python.org/lib/lib.html>, is that
there is one very important section, "String Methods"
<http://docs.python.org/lib/string-methods.html>, which does not appear
there. That's because it is section 2.3.6.1, and the table of contents
only goes to 3 levels.

I've found that to be quite irritating as well.
That's the section I use the most, and I find
it irritating that I have to drill down into the
manual every time to find it.

I wouldn't call it a bug though. I'd call it an
example of pedantry over usability.

Maybe someone should submit a bug report on SF...
