    Hi all happy holidays .....
    well i hope this message going in to the right newsgroups ......
    i just start learning Perl .... and i would like to know to know a
    free Perl editor !!!! easy to use ...

    vi, emacs (in particular in Perl mode), ed, vim, ...
    If you are on Windows then also Notepad, Wordpad, ... although those are
    much less supportive.
    Anyway, the FAQ has about a dozen or so suggestions, just see "perldoc -q
    editor".

    The exclamation mark and the dot on your keyboard are seriously stuck. You
    may want to fix that.
