Retrieving Profile Data

Hello.

I would like to store profile data in a database for future retrieval via a
key, say "OrderNo".

So, I need to take what's in the Profile database for a particular user,
save it to another, more permanent database, and make it available for
future retrieval by a key.

How would I do this?
