Tomcat suddenly going down?

I have Tomcat 3.3 using JSP's on IIS serving dynamic content from a
SQL Server. It has been working fine for about 8 months. All of a
sudden, it just stops working with no errors showing up (the
startup.bat still has an open dos window on the server and it looks
like it's still running). But the pages are not being found. Any ideas
what this could be? Anyone heard of this happening before?

Just a shot in the dark here; I resolved a similar problem on Tomcat
4.1.12 a few months ago that I traced to running out of disk space on
the log volume. Of course, 4.x is a complete rewrite from the 3.x
versions, so there's absolutely no reason to believe that you've got a
similar problem...

Did you check your log files? <tomcatdir>/logs

Also, try setting your log level to DEBUG if the above doesn't show
anything helpful.
