Updates in Design view not moved to Source view

    Hi Guys,
I am working on my first web control, and I have a problem. I added
a few properties to the Action Lists (the little page on the side when
you click on the triangle - it lets you select the data source and
refresh the schema, for instance) - and these properties update without
a problem, but are not moved to the HTML. I can see the updated value
in the properties window, but if I switch to source view and back they
    are lost.
On the other hand, if I go to the properties window after the update,
double click, change perhaps another letter, and apply, the changes are
moved to the HTML without a problem.
This happens whenever I make changes using my Action List instead of
the Properties Window. I would really like to fix this since I need to
implement a custom Refresh Schema code.
    Thanks!
