visual studio.net projects - how to copy

L

Larry Rekow

I created my first application using a MS SQL db and ASP.NET. The app
uses two tables in this db. I then needed to create another app that
uses the same db, but two other identically structured tables.

My first instinct was to just copy the aspx pages, but that caused
problems. (vs.net said it could not open the pages in design view).

So i then tried to copy the project to another folder, so i could just
change things to refer to the different tables.

But after copying the full project to another folder, I cannot access
the proj file to open it and work on it, as there appears to be no
proj file in the new folder.

gotta be a better way to do this.

Pls tell me what I'm missing....thanks.

Thanks,

Larry
