Wizard control with tabs?

I noticed that the wizard control in ASP.NET 2.0 does not have a tabstrip.
It doesn't resemble the normal Windows tabbed control. I wonder why it has
a sidebar which can't be placed anywhere else.

Is there a better *free* similar control which uses top tabs?

There are some ways to create a simple wizard control - however I think the best solutiong might be to create your own control and derive it from the wizardcontrol.
