Hi,
I have a site on our intranet that takes information from one database, lets
the user see it and if they want to lets then write it into another
database.
However, only recently with certain records (text like a note) the site
refuses to write to the second database and returns the following error:
403: Access Forbidden
Due to the presence of characters known to be used in Cross Site Scripting
attacks, access is forbidden. This web site does not allow Urls which might
include embedded HTML tags.
I am using a form to write to the second database, taking the text in the
note field and using server.urlencode to get it to the page that actually
does the writing.
Has anyone seen a similar problem? I suspect maybe a recent patch on the
server could be the cause but I'm speculating and investigating.
Thanks.
