Accessing items in a DataList on postback...

Hi:

I have a DataList that uses an HTML table to format items in its bound
datasource. No server side control templates are used.

When form posts back from a button click (separate from datalist), I get a
reference to the data in button click event using
"DataList.Items[1].Controls[2]". This gives me a reference to a
DataBoundLiteralControl object which has as it's Text property the HTML from
DataList viewstate. Looking at it in the debugger, I see an array property
called _dataBoundLiteral that gives array access to the data. How do I get
access to this array in code? _dataBoundLiteral is not property of
DataBoundLiteralControl object.
