Has anyone encountered a situation where uploads complete successfully, but the files never appear inside Google Drive?
I recently uploaded several design files and presentations. The progress bar reached 100%, and there were no error messages. However, when I checked the destination folder later, the files were missing. This immediately made me search for solutions related to Google Drive Files Not Showing Up.
I followed the usual recommendations: refreshed Drive, checked the Trash folder, searched by filename, cleared browser cookies, and even tried Incognito Mode. Nothing worked consistently.
For a while, I suspected a hardware issue because the synced location on my computer behaved strangely, almost like a D Drive not showing up error where folders become inaccessible or disappear temporarily. Eventually, I realized the local folder wasn't syncing correctly with the cloud version.
During my research, I found references to the DRS Google Drive Migration Tool. Some people suggested using it to create backups or transfer files when Google Drive synchronization becomes unreliable.
I'm curious if anyone here has discovered a reliable method to verify whether files are actually uploaded to Google's servers or simply stuck in a sync queue. Any advice would be helpful.
