Our organization recently completed its move to Microsoft 365, and management has started asking questions about backup and disaster recovery. We assumed Microsoft automatically protected everything forever, but after reading Microsoft's documentation, we realized that accidental deletion, ransomware, insider mistakes, and retention policy limitations can still result in permanent data loss if we don't maintain independent backups. Since we're responsible for client information, compliance requirements are becoming stricter, and losing mailbox data simply isn't an option. We're looking for a solution that can securely back up emails, contacts, calendars, archive folders, and public folders while keeping everything organized for future restoration.
