Imagero Reader is in Java written library for reading of image files.
Supported file types are:
BMP, GIF, TIFF, PNG, JNG, MNG, JPEG (also 12-bit grey), PSD, PBM, PGM, PPM
Following RAW file types are also supported: MRW, CRW*, NEF*, DCR*, DNG*.

Features:
- read thumbnails
- read metadata (IPTC, EXIF and XMP)
- edit metadata (content of any ImageResourceBlock and any IFDEntry can
be edited - you should know what you doing!)
- get image width and height,
- get image count contained in file,
- define area to read,
- add ProgressListener,
- choose image channel to read
- set scale factor
- set subsampling (JPEG only),
- read image (or channel) direct into array.
Imagero Reader is free for non-commercial use.
Commercial license available.
