can it be that we have problems with parallel ant builds, i.e. building
multiple .jars at the same time?

What does 'parallel' mean to you? To me it suggests
running two build scripts at once, that reference the
same files.

I have had no problems creating *multiple* jars from within
*a* build script, but I have never tried running two such
build scripts at once.
