browser backspace button query

Hi,

I have web form with 2 submit buttons. One has the PostBackUrl property set
to another page, and the other has nothing and falls through to the default
behaviour of posting back to it's page.

If I press the the cross post button I move to the 2nd page as expected. If
I then use the browser's backspace button to take me back to the page with
the buttons, then press the other button, the submit action still takes me
to my 2nd page.

I can avoid this behaviour by turning off browser caching for the "buttons"
page. Is this the only way to avoid this behaviour? It is ugly as the
browser displays the confirmation warning regarding the caches expired
PostData.

What is remembering my first response, and why isn't the 2nd response
overriding this?

thanks
Barry M
