Like WPF, Open GL or DirectX, can a web-application that uses AJAX
heavily, make use of the graphics card on the computer for hardware
acceleration of AJAX? That is, if I have a high end graphics card like
NVIDIA 3500, will my AJAX performance (eg: on the Google Maps webpage)
be any faster than if I had a cheap $50 graphics card?
As fas as I know AJAX doesn't know to use the graphics card for
hardware rendering. Can someone confirm or deny, and explain the
reason why or why not?
Thanks,
