can not access .net pages remotely

Hi,

I created a web application on IIS 6.0 and asp.net
When I access the application locally by using the browser, it works
fine. When I try to access from a browser in another computer I get the

"virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS"

I can assure that the application is configured as an application in IIS
and I do not have any clue on what might be going on. Any suggestion
will be appreciated.
