certificate autority is invalid problem

I have implemented SSL on our .NET project, only for the login.aspx
page. It worked fine when I set it up, then I closed Visual Studio.
When I reopened it, the project wouldn't load and I got the following
error.

"The Web server reported the following error when attempting to create
or open the Web project located at the following URL:
"http://localhost/CnsVE1'. 'The certificate authority is invalid or
incorrect'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
