Changing Default Install Path...

Hi all, I have a Web Setup Project and would like to change the installation
path from the default (i.e. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\) to some more particular
path (e.g. c:\myfolder\). Any ideas on this will be appreciated.

Regards, Raphael

The web setup project installs into the directory configured for the first
running web site. You can either configure the web site (if you are
installing on XP Pro) to point to another directory, or you can create
another site and point it to c:\myfolder. Then, you need to stop all other
sites that appear before your site in the IIS metabase, and the installer
will put things in the right place.

I think it is a huge shortcoming of the web setup project that you can't
specify what web site to run it on, given that most servers host multiple
sites.
