Is there any chance to catch when the user click cancel?
I use <input type=file> not for upload reason.

I don't believe so, not that way.
I have a feeling you're "making do" - using something because you don't
know another way to do it.

What is it you really want? Using a file input is probably not the tool
for you to be using.
Perhaps a confirm or a prompt would be more suitable.
