Converting a URL to a flat file in batch ...

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right newsgroup but I hope you can help. I
need to get on a periodic basis (using maybe Windows scheduler) a URL
into a flat file in a specific directory. Seems quite easy but I
can't seem to find any utilities. Can anybody help or point to some
Java code that would easily do this?

Thanks

wget and curl are two popular such utilities for doing just that. You
may need cygwin to use them on windows, I really don't know.
