Hello
We are facing a very strange situation with our tomcat installations
on two servers.
Everything works fine, but after some heavy load tests with hundreds
of users, both tomcat servers on both servers do not work 100%
correctly anymore. Actually, everything works fine, except data
download does not work anymore.
We did the following:
1. check log files -> no success
2. restart tomcat -> no success
3. clear the work dir -> no success
4. restart the server -> no success
After that we installed a new tomcat server on a new port and copied
the webapplication to the new tomcat installation and it works again.
Also a file diff on the two tomcat installation did not show some
differences which could explain the problem.
Does anybody know another reason which could explain this problem? Why
does a Tomcat reinstallation solve the problem?
Our environment is:
Server: AIX
Tomcat: Version 5.5
Any help is greatly appreciated.
