you.

Over http the file extension is irrelevent, its the Content-type http header
that counts.

Or to be exact, in HTTP there is no concept of an extension or indeed a
file name.

Did you try it out?
You do seem to have a weak spot for trying out multitudes of
browsers, so maybe it's no different for newsreaders... ;-)
