Date Localisation

Hi,
My web page will be viewed in a known time zone ( a day behind) that
is different from that of the server.
Dates need to be displayed and updated.
The dates are supplied by a webservice on the same server.
What is the correct way of handling this?
I am leaning towards adding / subtracting a day when the webservice is
writing / reading the database.
