Here is my code....
mycommandObject.Parameters.Add("@MydateCoulmn",SqlDbType.DateTime, x).Value
= "my date value"
what should be the x value in the above code.
My backend database is SQL Server.

8, unless you use SmallDateTime in you table definition, in that case it
would be 4.
