Iam a new member in this group and i want to say hi to you

Best to introduce yourself with a question. Also avoid the salutation
"dears". It has quite a different meaning that you might imagine. It
vaguely implies the people reading are drag queens.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. : o )

It's inaccurate. For one, I'm not a transvestite. In my early gay lib
work people were always expecting the lecturer (me) to show up in a
dress, and were quite baffled that I could be gay (a hulking 6'4"
looking somewhat like a cop)

It is a funny thing how people get so uptight over clothing. They
don't bat at eye at a soldier to beats children's brains out, but feel
compelled to pulverize someone who violates the dress code.

In some countries, men wear skirt-like garments to let the air keep
their genitals cool. Logically it makes more sense than binding them
against the body.

To get me out of a funk, partner is reading me a funny book called
"Drag Queen" by Robert Rodi. The heroine, Kitten Kaboodle's friends
include Regina Upright and Tequila Mockingbird.
