design-time rendering doesn't happen unless properties changed

Hi all,

I've created a custom control derived from WebControl. Inside its
RenderContents() I render bunch of child controls.
For some reason, when I drag and drop the control from toolbox on an aspx
page, it's displayed as:

[ MyControl "MyControl1" ]

Only when I resize it or change one of its propertes, the control is
rendered according to its RenderContents() method. How can I force my
control to be rendered when I drop it on the page?
