Does the mailto: action of the "form" element cause spam?

It could since such an email address is most likely deliverable and
actually read by someone waiting to (possibly) recieve the results
of the form. And a robot could easily parse such information from
web pages.

Another reason to use a server side solution to send form results.
No email address need be exposed unnecessarily.
