drag and drop in applet

Hi,

Could someone tell me if it is possible to implement drag and drop from a
non applet window into an applet window.

Specifically I want the user to drag a hyperlink from a web browser and drop
it onto my applet so I can retrieve the URL.

I realise this may be platform specific, so I am happy to limit myself to
windows if necessary, and I'm expecting to have to battle with badly
documented data formats and all that stuff. I'm just not sure whether this
is one of those things that is forbidden in for untrusted code, in which
case I might as well forget the whole idea.
