error creating controls - ASP.NET is broken - bug!

Hi, I have a problem if somebody can help I appreciate it

My VS.NET seemed to work fine and all of a sudden I started to get the
"error creating control message"

In my aspx page I drag a couple and controls and if I close it or switch to
HTML view and back again, my page is reformatted and it gets screwed up so I
started getting the error creating control error.

Any help?

look at your html file and see if it is formatted correctly. it should be
neatly ordered. if it is not, you have a syntax issue which is usually the
line before the formatting starts going haywire.
