Extending List control

Hi all,

I'm trying to write an extended list control. What it should do is fill the
list with some items from a database. I want to give the connectionstring to
the control from the codebehind in the page I use it on. The control doesn't
see the connection string.

this is what I use:


<Browsable(False), Description("Connectionstring to the Database."),
Category("Connections"), DefaultValue("")> _

Public Property ConnectionString() As String

Get

Return _connectionString

End Get

Set(ByVal Value As String)

_connectionString = Value

End Set

End Property



How can I get this to work?
