fetching a cvs repository directory from a cgi script

Hi,

This may be a FAQ, but I can't find the answer. I want a cgi script to
fetch a directory from out projects cvs repositoy. (the /doc/ directory)
How can I fetch the files in this directory when cvs is not installed on
the server?
