File uploading and downloading - help

Hi,
Is there a way for a client to upload a file to a folder that is not apart
of the web server (ie. cannot be accessed by url addresses)?

Also, is there a way for a user to download a file but not be able to access
it by entering a url address?

Hi Timothy,

Yes. You set the folder to which the file is saved. It doesn't need to be a
Web address.

Yes, you can fetch the data from anywhere on the disk drive and push it out
without the user knowing from whence it came.

You can allow users to upload files and then you can store it wherever you
want through code.
You can do the same in reverse using statements like Response.WriteFile.
