Fixtures script

A run a football website (www.botw.co.uk) and due to our Football League
rules we are only allowed to display the next five fixtures for each season.
Does anybody know how I can create a simple script that can identify the
date and display the next five fixtures to be played?

Where are the fixtures held? In a database? I see you have php & perl
available on your server. Do you have experience with either of them?
