The font-size you defined (1em) is equal to using the current font size.

If you want it to be smaller, use something like 0.5em or 0.75em (or
anything in between).

The "em" unit is always relative to current font size (usually of the
parent element or the element default).

Thanks. That's what it was. Cured it with two seperate divisions.
